NC Assist is a dedicated CNC program editor developed to help engineers produce CNC programs. This template-driven software offers users a powerful, comprehensive and easy-to-use programming platform which is tailored to suit Star machinery by our in-house applications team.

Star NC Assist Power to your programs

The conversational interface of NC Assist allows programs to be generated quickly and easily with minimal user input.

The CNC code is generated automatically by clicking on the desired template. Users can simply enter the co-ordinates, speeds and feeds, etc. where necessary and the software compiles the code into an easy to understand format to suit the selected machine.

Programs can be checked in NC Assist using the background plot function. This simulates the X & Z axis tool path generated from the CNC code and ensures the programmed tool paths are correct to drawing.

The software also provides a multi-channel display screen that can be used to display the programs in synchronised mode.
