Star GB | SK-51 Type A CNC Fixed Head Lathe

The SK-51 Type A is Star’s latest fixed headstock lathe, designed for 2-inch bar capacity and engineered to offer maximum versatility in complex machining applications.

It features a slant-bed layout with twin 12-station turrets, each equipped with 7.5kW driven tools at every station. Both the main and sub spindles run at up to 5,000rpm, and each turret offers a generous 640mm Z-axis stroke.

The machine is equipped with the FANUC iHMI control system, which includes a 15-inch touchscreen. This user friendly interface supports conversational programming, free-form contouring and fixed phrase insertion - allowing users to quickly configure and insert code blocks.
